Ice Cream Truck

The ice cream truck came by this evening. I usually NEVER have my kids get ice cream from one of these. Mainly cause we dont get one very often, or its close to dinner ect., or many other reasons. Well, tonight I thought "why not", so Bry took the older 2 kids out to get some. It was cool though cause tonight alot of the families on my street were there to. No one hardley ever gets ice cream on our street. Anyway, it was fun and the kids were so excited. They each got to pick what they wanted. I could not beleive how big Vince's popsicle was. I took pictures. Kinda nostologic. I remeber ice cream trucks when i was young.:) Summer, here we come!

Vincent Graduates

So, Wednesday was a big day in the Livingston house. My big boy Vincent graduated from preschool. Next stop Kindergarden! CAN U BELIEVE IT! Im just so freaked out by this. It went by so very fast. I cannot even believe he is this old. Seems like just yesterday he was born. And yes, for those wondering, I was emotional this day. LOL!
Here are some pictures from the day. One with dad, mom, grandma, and teacher Charlotte (in the black).

Funny how things can change

It has been like a week since I wrote in this blog, and some "livingstoncrew" fans have expressed there unhappiness with questions "when r you going to post a new blog". imagine that, people actually miss hearing from me and enjoy my pointless rants from time to time. LOL! Anyway, if a blog is what the fans want, who am i to dissapoint. :)

Today was Mothers Day. All I can say is i had one great day! I was spoiled in so many ways, and to see my kids so excited to give me a special day was priceless! And, in true "Amy" style i got emotional with the sweet presents my kids gave. Im a crier. Will cry at the smallest things, its who i am. :) There was breakfast made for me, dishes done for me, love, hugs and kisses. Brookelyn even asked me 4 times "what chore can i do for you mom"? All weekend she asked, and who am i to skip that one! LOL! Helpful tip, a 7 year old can vacumn upstairs and do a good job. ;)

Church was great to. Hence what I really want to talk about. I dunno if already being emotional today helped this along, but i felt so much gratitude today at church, and it really got me thinking. i really do love my ward, and those in it. "It's a funny thing how things can change". I have lived in this area for 8 yrs now. I have seen many come, and many go. But i can honestly say this is the first time in 8 yrs that i have actually felt really geniunely liked, and excepted in my ward. Comfortable to. I dont know if i grown up and come into myself and really let the true me come forth, just dont care anymore either way, or if my calling has helped this along. I just dont know. But I do know i am happy, and comfortable. I had s few people just today say to me "Amy, u r so awsome, im glad i know you". I kid you not, all today. I came home and expressed this to my husband, who in turned agreed with my new found comfortableness, and how happy he was for it. I love so many sisters in this ward. I have grown to love those i serve with in my calling. I can honestly say i am friends with those i serve with, and how lucky i am to be serving with those (EVERYONE OF YOU) people, and what examples you r to me. I dunno, maybe i am rambling, but i think it would be selfish of me not to recognize and ackknowlege this blessing in my life. Again, I dont know why the shift, but I am better cause of it, no matter what may of been the reason, yep, it's a funny how things can change. :)

Girls Night Out weekend '08' (G.N.O. "08" )

A few years ago when my mom, and sisters and I had to go down for California for about a week to help clean up my grandpa's house my dad was living in when he passed away we had a lot of fun together, and became close in such a sad time. I mean, we have always been close, but this time it was just diffrent. Since that trip we all talked about starting a tradition of having a girls weekend sometime again. This time strickly for fun good happy reasons. And that chance came this last weekend. My sister was able to fly down from California, and everyone else could sneak away from are own families for a few days. We went up to Salt Lake City and stayed at the Embessey Suites, Went out eating, shoping, womens expo, talking laughing everything. On the first night of the hotel we all had so much fun and were so punchy. My mom even gave us our mothers day gifts that night. One was a cute apron for all of us. :) I even made silly t-shirts that had each persons name on the front and GNO o8 on the back! We all had lots of fun. I even did my hair later in the night as a total 80's girl! LOL!

Mom-Im so glad to have such a fun mom who likes to hang out with her daughters, and be silly. You are such an amazing mom. You are amazing friend as well. You have 4 great daughters who all look up to you in so many ways. You taught us to have fun, and be close with each other. You are also such a fabulous grandma to our kids to. They love you. You really are an amazing women, who has so much love. You raised us well, and i hope to be half the mom to my kids that you have been to me, and my sisters. I love you mom!!!

Tracy-My goober sister who makes us all laugh. You r such a sweet, smart, loving and silly with the best of them. You say the funniest things, and sometimes i dont even think you realize you have said something funny. You r great on a dare, and you always are so happy and have the loudest jubliest laugh. You know you enjoy life, and love us. You have taught me so much. I love you Trac!

Wendy-Thanks so much for coming down to Utah to participate in this. You R so AWSOME! You r so funny, and can always laugh at your self. I admire that. You make anything fun, and you always have good ideas. I love it when you sing your funny songs. I love that you always know what to do. I love how you mother your own kids. I love how you r loving and caring to me (ie-the trunk hitting my head)You make situations fun. I can talk to you about anything And you r always the levelheaded one in the group. When someting is tense, you start to sing a "lets get along song." so funny! I love you Wen, and I miss you!

Kim-The sister im closest to in age, and have childhood memories with. The one i can talk to about stuff. The one i go to with questions. The one i so want to be. The one who has always been a great example to me. When we were younger and now. You r so funny and talented. And so spiritual. You help me in a jam, and my kids love you.You can make anyone laugh, and think of the funniest things to do with any situation.
