Christmas Came And Went

Isnt is funny all the preperations and excitment that lead to Christmas, then its all over in a flash? This year Christmas really seemed to go fast. It never really felt like Christmas to me for some reason. Im thinking that part of it may be because Thanksgiving was so late this year. i dunno, to me it seemed like we celebrated Thanksgiving and boom it was Christmas. I dunno, maybe im rambling and it only felt this way to me. But anyhow, thats what it felt like to me.

We did have a AWSOME christmas though. It was really fun this year cause the kids were really into it and that was alot of fun. My kids also must of been really good this year, cause they made out from Santa! In fact on Christmas morning when all the presents were open, and breakfast (yummy big breakfast made by Bryan) was eaten, Vincent came up stairs to tell me "Mom, I love Christmas, Santa is a good guy." :)

Also, for Christmas Bryan got me a wonderful gift! A wedding ring! The exact one I just had that was lost by that one place.(see the above blog entry titled "my ring" for whole story.) He actually found the ring. I still have credit at the one jewelry place I intend to use, but for now, im glad i have my ring. He also got me a HUDGE flat screen tv. Guess where it was installed when I got up Christmas morning to see it. In my bathroom by my big tub. Yep, I have a great hubby! But, actually we have decided now to actually move it into our room instead. Probley makes more sense. But, i have to give him props for thinking to put it by my the bath, one of my favorite places in the house. :)

Bryan got little things from me cause we actually are planning on getting a new bed for our room, and that is what Bryan is actually getting for Christmas, we havent gotten it yet though cause we can't make up our mind! LOL! Soon.

I do have pictures to post, but i cannot find the computer plug for the digital to load right now, and Bryan isnt home. So those will be posted later. I so hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, because probley before we know it, it will be Christmas again! :)

Well, ive been so busy this year, that we were not able to acutually send Christmas Cards this year, We havegotten lots, and thaks to all you who sent us one, but please dont be offended we did not send you a card from us, cause nobody got one! MERRY CHRISTMAS from The Livingstons!

All is well in Livingston Land. The kids are busy with school and all there activities. Brookelyn will be turning 8 in March and will be being babtized! SO SUREAL! My first kid to get babtised. She is very excited for it. She is growing so fast. She is still taking dance classes, She has been dancing since she was 5 so she is really loving it. In fact her dance Christmas recital is tomorrow. She also just started gymnastics and is LOVING IT! She is quite obssesed and is pretty darn good at it. Very brave, but most of all the smile on her face when she is there is priceless. And i love everyone there and I love her gym teacher. She is in 2nd grade and loving it. She is just such a good reader! She loves loves it! I was proud cause her teacher tested her reading and she passed up to a 5th grade level. So she is in 2nd grade but reading at a 5th grade level! WOW! I just love my girl! She is so sweet, and responsible, talented, and cares about everyone. And boy...Does she love High School Musical! And now after tonight The ballet Nuckcracker that we just went and saw tonight.

Vincent started kindergarden this year and is loving it. So is mom! i so love his teacher mrs. Burke and so does Vince. He is such a caring sensitive boy and a RIOT! I have other teachers from school, church and other kids parents will make a point to meet me and say how sweet and funny Vince is. He comes home everyday with little notes and presents from girls in his class. He is ganna be out little heart breaker. He is quite the gamer. Loves anything Mario and is very good at Mario, Wii, and Xbox. he can kick your trash and he is 5! oh, and his imagination. I can see him being a author when he grows up with his imagination. He is is music class and loving it and next year he will be starting his beloved karate and hopefull gymnastics as well.

Brenin is 2 and will be 3 in march and well thinks he is older. He still loves to have me cuddle him and i just love it. He is a explorer, smart and has NO FEAR! He is obssessed with anythig cars. Probley be a nascar driver or something when he growns up. Loves his nursery class at church and cant wait to start preschool next year.

Bryan is still very sucssessful in his business. Its growing with leaps and bounds. He just recently purchased a office space and was able to hire an employee. His compnay is so growing and is doing well, we are blessed. His company is Livingston technologies, but his main site is cooltext.com. You should check it out. This year Bryan was realesed from Scouts at church. He had that calling for 4 yrs. We were able to pay off both our cars annd the big thing...OUR HOME! We have paid off our home. We are so happy and blessed! We are literally DEBT Free! Bryan also started Piano this last year. He is SO DANG good at it and really enjoys it. he is moving up fast and his teacher has told him she wishes he took when he was younger cause he would of been quite the prodigy now. He defenitly has a talent, that has come to him quite fast. Its amazing.

Amy, me, is still alive and kicking. Iam still the Visit Teacher Cordinator in our ward and that takes ALOT of my time, but I have really loved it and the people i serve with. I also this year am helping every Tuesday with Brookes School class. That has been fun for me, and Brooke just loves it. Its fun to see your kid once a week in that teaching/school enviroment. Im also still in my dance class. This is my 5 year. I love it and I love the people. i reccomend everyone finding a great adult women dance class and joing it. Its fun, and you get a great work out. I also this year have had MANY MANY MANY big issues and surgeries with my mouth. SO MUCH! Many invasive surgeries! Hopefully they will end soon! They have taperd tonz and now its just small little things that need to be done. Im also a human taxi, I am also driving my kids here or there or what not. MOMS TAXI! :)

We also added a new addition to our family. A cute litte Pug Puppy we named Pugsley! OH SO CUTE! We all just LOVE HIM!

Childrens Museum

2 weekends ago Bryan and I took the kids to The Discovery Childrens Museum at the Gateway. The kids had alot of fun. They really like this one exhibit where there were tubes of air and you could put balls in them and they would move through all the tubes. Brenin was a big fan. One of the funniest things to was Brenin driving around the museum in a toy car. HE WAS IN HEAVEN! Santa may just need to bring him one of those this year! Enjoy!

My Wedding Ring

Ok, so this really makes me mad and sad on so many levels, and one of the only things I can think to help me feel a little better is to VENT! And to pass along the word to possibly help any of you in the future. Brace yourself, its quite a story.

Bryan and I were married almost 10yrs this coming July. About 2 yrs ago when i was in California after Brenin was born we went up to the cemetery to see my dad's grave who had passed away 4 months ealier. While we were visiting his grave site, our car was broken into, and my purse was stolen. AT THE CEMETERY no less. When we got back to the car and noticed what happned, i was devistated, mainly cause the day before we had gone to the beach, and i took my wedding ring off and placed it in my purse. And, being a idiot, i had not put it back on. So, yes my ring was stolen. It was a horrible time. But, that next christmas, while out on a date, my hubby presented me with a new ring. It was GORGEOUS! Totally diffrent from the first ring, and although i missed the sentimental value of my "original" ring, I loved this one just as much. Now, brace yourself....it gets worse. Hense the fore warning.

About a month ago, while at SouthTowne mall we ran into a jewlry place that rymes with "Ray Jewlery" to have a ring Bry had gotten me there tightned. While in there we decided to give them my wedding ring to have clean and have one small small diamond replaced. They said they could do it. No problem. We felt good about it seeings the company was wide known and had a good reputation. A few weeks later i went into the shop to retrieve my rings. And guess what, they only had one ring and it was not my wedding ring. You know what happned, THEY LOST IT! I KID YOU NOT! Bryan was so mad, and i was crushed. It's been weeks, and a lawyer later and the end result is my ring cannot be found. They have given us store credit, but i am NOT about to give them my business. So, there you have it, my second wedding ring gone! Im so mad and hurt about this. And, if you can, I reccomend avoiding this jewelry place. The joke, cause we have to find light somewhere, is either A. Bryan and I should not be married, or B. I just like Bryan to keep getting me wedding rings and reproposing. Either way, I feel like my heart keeps getting ripped out of my chest!

New Kids On The Block Concert......

AND IM NOT ASHAMED! I was able to go to the New Kids On The Block this last Saturday at The E Center. My mom pitty me and went with me. Can I just tell you I had So much fun! I was instantly blasted back to my childhood. I was a hudge fan of the NKOTB in my younger years and when i heard they were going on tour again, and coming to SLC at that, I had to go. I got my tickets back in like May so i was glad to finally have the day here. I was very impressed with there concert. I so got my money worth, and for a couple of older guys now, they can really rock! We had fantastic seats and at one point they walked a short way through the audience and i was able to touch one of there shoulders. I actually could not see who i touched, some tall screaming lady was in front of me, but i touched one of them. LOL! I was so 12 again! I was mad though cause i brought my camera, but saw they were searching bags and decided to leave my camera in the car. But, my bag actually did not get searched, and lots of people had camera's and they E center people could actually care less. I WAS SO MAD! I could of got some great pix's. Oh well, at least i was probley following the rules in the long run and i should get brownie points for that! Anyway, here r pix's i did take. :) I did take some on my phone inside, but i need Bryan to show me how to get them on to the computer. :) enjoy

Halloween

Halloween came and went in The Livingstons house, but fun was had by all! Brooke was Alice from Alice And Wonderland. Vince was Captian Hook, Brenin was Peter Pan. Bryan and I were a 80's girl and a rocker dude! FUN!

My "Sweet" Husband

I just wanted to do a shout out to my sweet hubby! While he was at the office today I was kinda having A day! Well, ive been kinda been having a week like that. Anayway, I really made no big annoucment i was down in any way, and never tried to drop hints to Bryan or anything. So, what im about to say, Bryan did all on his own. I came home from the kids music class tonight and i came home to dinner on the table and most important...a box of YUMMY chcolates on the table. I smiled and said "whats this?" And he said he just thought I needed something nice and wanted to get me a suprise! I LOVE HIM!!! He is always doing stuff like that for me. Romantic random stuff. There was the time we were dating and he had single roses hid around my apartment once when i came home from work, adding to 2 dozen roses after all were found. The time when i told him in the first few weeks of us dating that when i was in 2nd grade i sold so many chcolate bars i could for the school fundraiser so i could earn this triangle highlighter. It was the bare minim prize but i SO wanted that! I made the requirement, but for some reason when they were gave out, my name was not called and i recieved nothing. I was to embarrassed to say anything so i let it go. It was such a trimatic event for me. All i wanted was the triangle highlighter. Then just 3 yrs ago, OUT OF THE BLUE a UPS man came and delivered me a package while Bry was at work. I opened it and there were 100's of triangle highlighters in the box with a note from Bry, "Never forgot what you told me" "here are your triangle highlighters you never got." "I love you!"

It's stuff like that. I really love him and i wanted him to know it. And i wanted him to know, those chocolates could not have come at a better time today! And thanks for just being intuned with me just enough to know "i think my wife needs chcolates today". I love you babe!

Vince 1st day! Kindergarden, here we come!

Today was the day! Vince started kindergarden! He was so excited! He asked all day, "is it time mom, is it time mom". He is in PM kindergarden, so he does not leave till noon. Anyway, we dropped him off and he did great! Was not sad at all, and was in good spirits! He kept telling me I could leave. LOL! Next step, get him off the right bus stop! Luckily Brookelyn will be on the same bus to help him! No worries!

So, now its just me and Brenin. Im about to put Brenin down for his nap and it will just be me until 3:30! What am i ganna do with myself! :)

Oh, and yes in the background of the pix r Halloween decrations. I just got them at a boutique and did not want to pack them in my Halloween stuff, so i just put those 3 things up right now. LOL

IM DOING iT!

Ok, so most of you know, i hate my weight! I have tried to loose a few times, and ither lost motivation, or become pregnant! :) Well, i decided at my birthday this year i was REALLY going to try and loose it! i also promised i would not be hard on myself, and not go into a full blown diet i knew i would ditch after awhile. And, since we are done having kids...no more being pregnant.

Anyway, i usually hate to show anything on me on the weight department and never talk about or like to show my triumps or failers in weight. But, you know what..IM DANG PROUD of myself right now, so im thinking, why not? Plus, maybe i can start photo documenting my hopeful weight loss. So, since the end of July I have lost a total of about 16 pounds! I know, can u believe it! I have been watching what i eat, and drinking A LOT of water and every night i go for a run around my nieghboorhood while my kids ride there bike. No hudge drastic changes, just becoming more aware of what goes in my mouth, and most importantly all the water i drink during the day. Anyway, we will see how it goes from here, but i gotta say, it sure feels nice!

Brookelyn's First Day!

School is back in session! Brookelyn started school this past Monday and is one happy camper! She was so ready to start! In fact she woke me up at 5:30am dressed and with her back pack on asking me if we could go! I put her back in bed!:) she loves her class and has alot of friends. We are on day 3 and she is still excited to go each day. I really like her teacher. She seems really nice, creative, and u can tell she loves her job! I still cannot believe she is in
2nd Grade!

Vince starts Kindergarden on Monday. so, i will post his pictures soon. Wow 2 kids in school
